Why Mobility?

Mobility means we can move better!

As we move through a series of mindful movements and exercises, we will strengthen and improve the function of our joints.  Daily routines will often become easier.

Through weekly training, receive guidance and acquire tools to support your personal training regimen and maintenance.

What You'll Learn

  1. Use bodyweight exercises and resistance bands to help improve mobility, strength, and flexibility
  2. Focus on groups of muscles to help improve movement in the related joints
  3. Use your focus to acquire mindfulness techniques to reduce stressful energy.
  4. Deep mindful breathing exercises relax the body and mind and help reduce physical and mental stress from the exertion of the body.

What to Prepare

  1. Resistance bands (examples from Amazon, Target, Dick's Sporting Goods)
  2. Light Dumbbells
  3.  Yoga mat
  4.  Cushion for knees (optional)

About the Trainer

Chris has been studying mindfulness and stress management with Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi for over 5 years. Previous to that he was a junior college professor at Santiago Canyon College where he was also an assistant coach in the Women's Soccer Program. In the last 4 years, he has been able to help himself and many others greatly improve their overall health and well-being with the tools he will share with you today.
