Body & Brain Wellness, as part of Be Well initiative of Chicago Public Schools and has been providing online and in-person mindfulness workshops, yoga, Taichi, and meditation classes since December 2020.

Body & Brain teaches Korean style yoga, tai chi, breathing, and relaxation exercises in quick and effective classes that everyone can enjoy. Our instructors come from all walks of life, and each of them brings different expertise and enthusiasm to the Body & Brain practice.

For over 28 years, Body & Brain has been helping people manage stress, improve their overall health and energy level, and improve their focus and peace of mind. With over 80 centers nationwide, including 6 in the Chicagoland area, Body & Brain is a national leader in mind-body exercise and stress management classes and coaching.

We are looking forward to working together with you for a happy, healthy, and peaceful 2025-2026.

Virtual Yoga & Taichi Classes

After class, I have more energy, balance, and focus. I also sleep more peacefully. The next day in the classroom I am more alert, calm, and positive in my thoughts, words and actions. The instructors for Tai Chi and Yoga are very knowledgeable, and they share their insights and awareness as to how the body and mind work together to create harmony. The classes are also great ways to reduce stress, and to "recharge the batteries" after a long day in the classroom.

Oceana is the super regional director of Body & Brain Illinois, Florida and Texas (Dallas). She is a master healer and has been a Body & Brain teacher and national trainer for over 27 years. She is an expert guide who has helped many people create their own health, happiness and peace as the master of their life.

Magdalena is the regional director of Body & Brain Illinois. She’s a workshop trainer, life coach, Qigong instructor, and an advocate for holistic health with over 19 years of experience. Empowered by her own healing journey, Magdalena committed herself to helping others achieve health and wellness through mindfulness.

Julia Chung is the center manager of Body & Brain Mt Prospect, IL. She's a professional certified coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and has been a Body & Brain instructor for over 13 years. Julia is passionate about sharing mindfulness with people in corporations who feel the need to reconnect with themselves to create a more purposeful work and personal life.
